  having a clear understanding of the end
product allows you to make decisions about
how and where you are going to use it

 
have a clear idea of the end product and what it should achieve
 
do you know what that is?
if not, profile what you want to do with
it and leave up it to the supplier to
make a recommendation
 
where do you want to use it? locations/logistics?
 
how do you want to use it? present live
or interactive/controlled environment?
will you be using it?
handing it out to someone else?
or giving it to your end audience?
 
internal or externally?
 
the web or live to the public?
 
venue/location/s?
 
over what period of time?
 
are multiple copies required?
 
is printing required?

       audience - profile them with questions like:

maturity?

numbers? large or small?

demographics?

internal - external?

interest/involvement factor?

understand you are paying for time and so
anything that can save time allows it to be added
